Conditions have been pretty spotty, but in general there seems to be a murky layer near the surface in most areas. North county definitely looked murky this morning, and reports from La Jolla were in the 5-10 foot range until things opened up drastically down in the canyon. Great day if you can get below the murk!

Little bit more swell in the water today, and visibility as good in pockets and murky in pockets. Above 15' of depth will probably be murky, and below 30' has been opening up nicely

Visibility has been varied the past few days, there is a murky layer at the surface in most areas that clears up at about 10 feet of depth. Once under the murk the water is nice and clear, most areas reporting around 15 foot visibility. Surf is small and it's a calm morning, great for getting wet!

Surf is small ish though there is a steep South swell filling in. That means that areas further north will be more affected by it, while the La Jolla diving areas will mostly be protected. Expect around 15' vis in most areas, with plenty of life out there

Nice calm morning with beautiful clear water out there! About 20' visibility in a lot of areas, even close to shore! Definitely a good day to get out there!

Swell has all but flattened out today, expect light surge and better visibility. Most areas will see around 10' near shore, and closer to the 15-20' visibility range out in the canyon or at wreck alley
