San Diego Daily Dive Reports

Visibility: 5-15 feet

Surf: 2-3 feet

Water temp: 70-75 F

Went out in the kelp off La Jolla yesterday and had about 10' viz in 60' of water. Conditions will be similar today, expect around 10' in most areas

Visibility: 5-15 feet

Surf: 2-3 feet

Water temp: 68-74 F

Water is still nice and toasty and the surf is starting to mellow out. Wouldn't expect visibility to be all that great tomorrow but it should be workable for sure.

Surf: 3-4 feet

Water temp: 68-73 F

Swell is still out there but La Jolla Shores doesn't seem to be picking it up all that much, nice and flat out there now. Water is still a bit murky but definitely workable, 5-10 in the shallows and 15-20 out deeper. Still needs some time to settle out more but it's doable at least!

Visiblity: 0-10 feet

Surf: 3-5 feet

Water temp: 70-75 F

You could say conditions took a...dive...!? Sorry, just trying to make the most of the poor viz right now. No good reports close to shore or further out, unless you can get down to 80' or more of depth where it clears up nicely. Heavy surf today so expect a good amount of surge

Visibility: 10-20 feet

Surf: 2-4 feet

Lots of interesting reports from yesterday...10' vis around Point Loma, but incredible 50'+ viz in La Jolla! At least in the morning. Hopefully some of those conditions stick around for today! Water is nice and warm as well

Waaarm water out there right now! Did some freediving yesterday and had very clear water out in the canyon, closer to 10-15' visibility closer to shore. Much better than what we've had recently!

Visibility: 10-20 feet

Surf: 2-3 feet

Water temp: 68-74 F

Looks like a good day out there, mild surf and reports of clear water yesterday, though more so at depth (still some murk near the surface)

Visibility: 5-15 feet

Surf: 2-3 feet

Water temp: 69-73

Still a murky layer at the surface but it clears up nicely if you can get down past 30 or 40 feet. Marking today as fair since we had rain yesterday...runoff will clutter up the water and often can bring some funk with it so the smart people advise staying dry for a few days after rain, especially if it's the first rain in in a while.

Visibility: 10-20 feet

Surf: 1-3 feet

Water temp: 69-73 F

Water is clearing up, about 15 foot visibility down to 50' of depth and then opening up nicely after that. Great time to get out there

Hurting for the loved ones of those who were lost on M/V Conception this past weekend. You all are in out thoughts
