Swell is still in the water so be careful of the surge. A lot of people have been getting pretty tossed around at their normal dive sites, so only hit those if you're really comfortable in heavy surge, and if you have a buddy. Most reports coming in around the 10' range, give or take a few feet

Things are still a little churned up from the long period swell that just came through, expect a lot of surge out there today but probably not as intense as the past few days. Be careful out there for sure

Water cooled down a notch which will help our kelp our a bit! Reports of 10-15 in most of the La Jolla areas, and expect that to improve slightly today. Time to get out there and scope your lobster spots, season starts on Saturday!

Water still staying fairly clear at depth, but a little added surface chop due to S winds today are going to clutter things up near the surface. Still worth getting out there though!

Water cooled off a bit today, we'll see if it keeps going that direction but I think it may be warm for a while. About 15' viz at the surface and over 30' viz below 30' in the canyon yesterday, today should be about the same
