San Diego Daily Dive Reports

Visibility: 0-10 feet

Surf: 2-4 feet

Water temp: 66-68 F

Waves are down another notch though still some good power out there. Water will be beginning to clear up today, but most areas will still be very murky

Visibility: 0-10 feet

Surf: 3-4 feet

Water temp: 66-69 F

A little less energy in the water today but there is still a significant swell out there which will make things pretty surgey. Water will still be pretty churned up from the waves over the past couple days...another day to go with a surfboard!

Visibility: 0-10 feet

Surf: 3-4 feet

Water temp: 66-68 F

Still quite a bit of swell in the water today. The good news for the La Jolla region is that it will be more of a south swell, so the shores should get a little more protection that it has the past couple of days. Still gonna be plenty of surge and murk out there today

Visibility: 0-10 feet

Surf: 4-5 feet

Water temp: 67-69 F

Good amount of swell is in the water right now, pretty much shutting down the diving for today.

Visibility: 5-15 feet

Surf: 3-5 feet

Water temp: 66-68 F

It's a good day to get wet...but better on a surfboard than with a mask. Solid sized swell has moved in which has been making the shore entries very difficult, and the open ocean conditions fairly choppy. Swell looks to hold through the weekend, so it might be a good time for other activities

Visibility: 15-25 feet

Surf: 2-4 feet

Water temp: 66-68 F

Conditions are beautiful today! 30-35' viz at the surface out in the canyon, and the shallows were super clear as well. Definitely get out there, swell is going to be filling in starting later on today

Visibility: 10-20 feet

Surf: 2-4 feet

Water temp: 67-69 F

A little more swell in the water today so be mindful of that, and it will be building throughout the rest of the week. Reports of 10-15' viz at the Marine Room yesterday, today should be pretty similar overall

Visibility: 10-20 feet

Surf: 2-3 feet

Water temp: 67-69 F

A little more swell in the water than was forecasted, as well as a bit of onshore wind chop. Water is still nice a clear, but won't be as epic as we saw over the past couple days. Get out there today if you can, the rest of this week the surf is supposed to build

Visibility: 15-25 feet

Surf: 1-2 feet

Water temp: 67-69 F

Sorry we didn't have a report yesterday, we were just so excited about the conditions that we forgot to put one up! Had a great day diving in La Jolla though, the shallows were spectacular! Our group saw rays, turtles, leopard sharks, horn sharks, and plenty more at the Marine Room with almost 25' of visibility! The cove had similar conditions. DEFINITELY get out there this week! We have a big swell coming in this weekend that will clutter things up a lot. Sign up for our newsletter to get the full week long forecast!
