San Diego Daily Dive Reports

Visibility: 5-15 feet

Surf: 2-4 feet

Water temp: 70-72

Water is nice and toasty! Unfortunately it hasn't been all that clear the past day or two, most spots are in the 5-10 foot range. The surf has calmed down a little from yesterday so that should help though. Either way plenty of life in the water and you barely even need a wetsuit!

Water temp: 67-69

Reports of poor conditions in the shallow areas of La Jolla, most spots around 5 foot visibility at most. A little deeper out things are around the 10-15 foot range, but there's a solid amount of surge in all areas.

Visibility: 10-20 feet

Surf: 2-3 feet

Water temp: 67-69 degrees

Similar conditions to yesterday though with a little less sun and a little more onshore breeze. Expect visibility to be around the 15' mark in most areas, though apparently La Jolla Shores are crystal clear right now, and full of sharks and rays!

Slight uptick in the swell today, though protected areas like La Jolla Shores shouldn't feel it too badly. Most areas seeing around 15' visibility, with plenty of life at the shores especially!

Surf: 1-2 feet

Water temp: 66-68

Some slight wind chop this morning and some rain are affecting the visibility near shore a little, though reports from La Jolla Shores said the shallows were incredible this morning...almost 40' viz! Wouldn't expect that in most places though. Many reports at depth are around the 15-20' mark

Surf: 1-3 feet

Water temp: 66-68

A little overcast with some surface chop today, the shallows are seeing visibility around the 10' mark while the deeper areas will be closer to 20'

Visibility: 10-20 feet

Surf: 1-3 feet

Water temp: 66-68

Great reports yesterday from Nautilus of 25'+ viz on the Yukon and the Ruby E. Onshore winds this afternoon will make the conditions trickier close to shore, but if you can get offshore or into deeper water the visibility opens up nicely!

Visibility: 5-15 feet

Surf: 2-3 feet

Water temp: 66-68 degrees

Lots of life out there right now! Leopard sharks and bat rays in La Jolla, and also reports that some Thresher sharks are in the area! Little bit of texture on the surface already this morning with overcast skies. Looks like a great day to get out there
