San Diego Daily Dive Reports
Visibility: 20-35 feet!
Surf: 3-4 feet
Water temp: 66-68 F
Yes, that's right, the Santa Anna's are kicking into gear which means clear water for us. There is a little swell out there so the shallows might be closer to the 15-20' zone, but beyond the surf it should be pretty epic. Reports from yesterday in the canyon of 20'+ viz and it should just improve...so get out there!
Visibility: 15-25 feet
Surf: 2-3 feet
Water temp: 66-68 F
Looks like an awesome day out there today! Expect viz to be around 20' in most places, we do have some waves but nothing too crazy. Watch for the big tide swings that will cause current/murk, but other than that things should be pretty epic
Visibility: 10-20 feet
Surf: 2-3 feet
Water temp: 66-68 F
Great visibility yesterday morning gave way to less stellar conditions as we had some strong southerly winds throughout the day. Expect today to start off with some of the leftover churn, though we should see improvement throughout the day. Watch for large shifts in tides that will create strong currents and murkier waters...catch it closer to the slack tides, preferably on either side of the high tide for best results
Visibility: 10-20 feet
Surf: 1-2 feet
Water temp: 66-68 F
South winds have been kicking up some surface chop overnight, though areas like the cove and the shores will be pretty protected from this. Good reports have been coming in and we expect more of those today! Get out there and get wet...and tag us @DiveViz on Instagram so we can share updated conditions with other divers!

Great reports coming in, La Jolla areas are constantly seeing 20'+ visibility and today it will be the same if not better! Water is definitely cooling off, especially at depth, but today should be an epic day to be out there!

Another hot day out with some calm, clear water...which means go out and get wet! Recent reports coming in between 15-25 feet for visibility, expect that or better today!
Visibility: 15-25 feet

SURPRISE! Water cleared up really quickly! La Jolla Shores was seeing 15' in the shallows and close to 30' viz out in the canyon, also got reports of 15-20' viz in the kelp off of La Jolla. Great day to get out there for sure!
Visibility: 0-10 feet
Surf: 2-4 feet
Water temp: 66-68 F
Waves are down another notch though still some good power out there. Water will be beginning to clear up today, but most areas will still be very murky
Visibility: 0-10 feet
Surf: 3-4 feet
Water temp: 66-69 F
A little less energy in the water today but there is still a significant swell out there which will make things pretty surgey. Water will still be pretty churned up from the waves over the past couple days...another day to go with a surfboard!
