Water definitely cooled off, but hasn't cleared up too much due to solid swell and lingering red tide. That being said, the red tide isn't nearly as thick, so the chance of finding clear pockets are pretty good right now...just take a look before you head in

Red tide continues to slowly clear up, but is definitely still in effect. More swell in the water today as well, chest to shoulder high and head high at some spots

Red tide seems to have cleared up in much of the areas south of La Jolla, but is sticking around in La Jolla and many parts north of it. Swell is in the water but not too heavy

Water is slowly, slowly starting to improve but there's still plenty of murk and leftover red tide out there. Viz will likely be on the higher range of the scale, between 5-10 feet, and maybe a bit more in some areas.
